Mine blows! LOL! Not kidding this week! I did not have time to do a good job, but I tried.
Commercials can totally ruin a song. Remember the song "Like a Rock"? I bought the Bob Seeger album with that song on it when I was younger. The commercial totally turned me against Bob Seeger music.
otin - It started for me when they took, "Should I Stay or Should I Go" and used it for Taco Bell. I was like, "WHAT THE HELL? THE VIOLENT FEMMES? REALLY?????" From there, it's gone downhill.
Maggie - Oh, you have NO idea. I kinda did bitch slap her though because the principal was walking by and I called her over....It was the PRINCIPAL'S decision on something about one of MY students this teacher was upset over. Ooooohhh Bitch Slap!
Rude teacher and I wish you luck on the conferences.
I have to admit, with the invention of the DVR, I get to fast forward through many commercials and have totally missed the car company slaughtering this song. However, did you know, Moby made it big by selling his music to corporations 1st? I heard that. Could be an urban rumor, but don't think so.
I have got to catch up! And I almost tweeted you, how on earth can I do an out of tune Tuesday without an Imahoe? But then you thought ahead and made the poster.
you're good! But still I think I need an I'mahoe before I get to singing my heart out.
Little Ms Blogger - I can't lie. I keep telling Hubby to sell his songs. I just don't want to hear the songs I loved in high school and college used!
JennyMac - Patience? I think Hubby would say I have none. Although I did get a love note today from a 5th grader...
Summer - Still working on making my shank.... Those things take awhile to make out of a toothbrush.....
hiphophippie - I think YOU should come SUB for me for a day. JUST for ONE day.... I'd LOVE to see how you'd handle "shit in pants" boy....
Toe - This morning was "another child's parent cusses at a kid walking to school". The principal had to call the police. Is that better or worse than "poo in pants"?
Court - YES! Go buy a Barbie. But don't tell Dingo. She'll make fun of you.
I DO love this song!! And also the cool background and cutting edge dance moves!!
I dislike snotty women even more than poopy children -
One of the best things about teaching high school is no teacher conference week - they are a lower circle of hell. I'll be thinking teacher-solidarity thoughts for you.
Steam Me Up, Kid - Wow, Shit Handprints....Genius. I wish my "Poop in Pants, Boy" was more creative.
Vic - I'd have to say if the poopy children weren't TEN, I'd like them more. AND if he wasn't an ANNOYING child to begin with... Snotty woman? Poopy child? Wow. This one might be a toss up for me.
Jocelyn - So next week you'll be doing one of your own, I presume?? :)
Oh hell to the N-O! I'm not that brave to sing on-line. Was that mean to say? Hope your' conferences are getting better. It sounds like a tough year with the kiddos. But at least no Excercise Queen.
Hi favorite teacher of all. Hope you're week got better. My has been challenging if not quite boring. I love the icon, she looks vintage. I wondered if your kids would ever guess who really is The Out Of Tune Tuesday...
Hmmmm....Isn't this life's goal? To find out who we are? I want to be the person who is doing yoga on an Italian hilltop every morning while waiting for my vineyard to grow grapes for wine. Perhaps some day that will be my life. But for now, I'm a sarcastic girl who watches too much tv, sings off key, and finds shanking jokes funny.

Seriously, where do you get the patience and restraint with some of these people?
And one of my favorite musicians Ray Lamontagne who is very indie and soulful is now doing music for an INSURANCE commercial. Ugh.
What a hag! You shoulda shanked the bitch. :)
BTW Great song!
He did WHAT in his pants?! NOT OKAY. And that chick is totally on my shit list. Omg, I hate it when commercials ruin songs! That should be illegal.
I hate poo in your pants kind of days. Hope your week gets better.
